Today I Open to my Heart’s Desires

Today I open to my heart’s desires.

Too often we give short shrift to what we truly want. We try to please others, we try to make things happen, and we usually go against the grain of our own knowing. Today, I will not let that happen. Today, I choose another way.

I chose to open to my heart’s desires. If I do not know what my truest desire is, then I wait to let it be presented to me. If I do not know how to go about achieving my truest desire when it is shown me, I wait and let the answer—and guidance—be born within me.

In any moment, I am servant to fear or servant to my heart. I can choose to serve the constricted mind, or expand and enter the heart. Which decision I make will determine the trajectory of my life. For spirit dwells in the heart, and heart’s desires exist to bring all beings towards their highest possibility.

I do not turn away from the heart. I accede to her desires, and enter her waters fully. I receive my heart’s desires.
